Burberry’s English rose was portrayed beautifully in country bumpkin quilting, herringbone, tweed and corduroy on 40s silhouettes. Bow details on lace dresses with peplum shapes made the looks feminine and perfectly accessible. Elsewhere, leather gloves with studded embellishment and classic heels topped this collection off and made the classic English woman edgier and more daring.
